Murmurations

Half a million starlings coming in to roost in the reed beds at Ham Wall RSPB nature reserve. Quite a sight to see
So fascinating isn't it.....How they don't crash into each other is amazing !

I bet they were very noisy, just a few in my garden at the feeding station made a heck of a noise! Lovely capture 😊

@thewatersphotos @bigmxx when they fly over your head the wings make a real whooshing noise and then they make a squawking cacophony while they settle down in the reeds
