The native English Bluebell is still holding its own here in Somerset. Sadly there are all too many of the Spanish bluebells and its hybrids taking over in many places. They are all lovely flowers, but the graceful arch of our original native plant is beyond compare in my opinion.
I have huge amounts in my garden......English (even in Cornwall).......they were here when I moved in 18 years ago.......but have proliferated hugely in that time....
