Burrow Mump

This landmark was standing out beautifully above the Somerset Levels as I was walking across the moors. It's a natural hill that has been well utilised over the centuries - a Saxon look-out point, a Norman castle, and a later in the 15th century medieval chapel was built. It's also been linked to the legendary King Arthur and sometimes referred to as "King Alfred's Fort" but there is no real proof of there being any connection.
Another place for us to visit when we visit our Somerset relatives!
