While out in the garden this morning thinking it was time I gave the Corokia hedge a well overdue trim.. I spied this Paper wasp starting to make his/her nest.. amazing work of art but not something we want in the garden.. They pack a bit of a punch with their sting...
She is making her nest how fascinating! Never heard of a paper wasp but she sounds very unwelcome as all wasps are. We don't tend to see wasps until late summer so she is out & about early!
