Love this time of year when you can take a wonder around the garden and come up with this colourful and mixed bunch.. Rugosa Roses, Lovely Lady Rose, calla lilly, Dilly Dilly Lavander, Mini climbing rose, Love in the Mist. Lucospermum.. filled up the trug and now graces the coffee table in a vase... smells devine...
This shot so amazing to me I had to check your gear! Found you are shooting with the newest version of my own camera. I have the Nikon D600. The colors are amazing. It must be you.
@trinda Thanks Trinda, yes in NZ.. I think my little secret is the magic little 50mm lens.. I love it for doing still life inside shots.. I also made a little black 1/2'tent' to shut out light coming in from behind... but also had a few rejects as w3ll... thank you so much for your comment and fave..
This is beautifully presented and captured - reminds me I must try out my 50mm lens - I will need to take inside shots from next week following surgery so here's hoping for lots of get well flower gifts!
A lovely shot which would have done justice to those colourful enamelled chocolate box tins that were so popular at one time . . . but the image is timeless. I would have preferred to see it less tightly cropped, leaving a bit more space on each side, but that's just a personal observation and does not stop me saying FAV!
@wordpixman Yes I know the crop was a bit tight, but the basket was a bit big for the make shift 'tent' so there was stuff I did not want seen... thanks for the fave..
@kiwinanna Def get that 50mm out took me a little to get use to it but it is just so good on this sort of shots.. Hope surgery goes well, and look forward to seeing some of your still life shots ..
