Matapouri Bay...

Dianne @dide and I had a very early start this morning as we wanted to catch the Sunrise... 5.30 am and we were off to catch a glorious Sunrise... Hmmmm Not such a spectacular morning but had a lovely glow.. and this spot would be pretty special no matter what... Paradise....

A great morning and so good to have the beach to ourselves so we could take photos. A lovely silhouette of the pohutukawa on the cliff - very nice.

Julie, I missed your part of homeland when touring NZ recently. Landed in Auckland and drive south towards Rotorua. I wish next time to spent some times around Auckland.
