Had a bit of a diversion on the way home from town today, and I like this view of the Mighty Waikato River ( NZ longest river) this is about 10 k's from the River mouth at a point where it forks off around an island.. over the other side is rich farm land that has mixed crops in.. we have not had much sunshine so far this year and as you can see from this shot the clouds were hanging pretty heavy..
Well I hope it's bucks up before we come over Julz! We have been watching the 2015 DVD of Country Calendar, such stunning scenery! We have just watched the first disc so we have number two still to watch. Beautiful mix of trees & fields & river!
@happypat There is one of the local farmers on that series .. he lives near Bryce.. Stu Muir bringing the swamp back to the way it was and doing lots of planting..
@julzmaioro I don't think we have seen that yet....must be on the other disc. Did watch one about a farm called something like Junkers? Around the Auckland area & not sure if he was the one that had a helicopter business...might have got that muddled but you could see the sky tower from his farm.
