This cute little Duck is New Zealand's rarest waterfowl with only 2,000-2,500 living in the wild. They live on the ponds dotted around Tiri Tiri Matangi.. @dide and I walked around the Island today and although we had seen several of the ponds still had not seen any, so off we went to the one remaining pond.. as we walked down the hill these two little swam across the pond, hopped up on the bank did a little twirl to show us their best side and then hopped back in the pond and swam away.. clearly use to photographers...
