Clover Honey coming up.... by julzmaioro

Clover Honey coming up....

We have another bee swarm.. following the one I got shots of last month http://365project.org/julzmaioro/365/2016-10-25
This time this one is hanging procaresly on a very thin branch on one of the Karo tree's .. it is quite large and we have a bee keeper coming to 'rehome' them tonight.. I think they have been enjoying the wild flowers like clover that are in the pasture at the moment..
This is amazing and fascinating. Ok to get close if you are not allergic to bees I guess. Well captured and collaged. Fav.

Goodness this is an amazing sight Julz. Fascinating to see how they all cling together & a brave man who comes to rehome them. The ways of bees are a mystery! Fave

These swarms happen when a 2nd queen decides that the hive is over crowded and so she moves out and takes some workers with her, .. These ones were easy to shift as Farmer George and Bee Keeper Jimmy just cut the branch off and then sat it over the hive and they just moved in.. all done in a few minutes and no stings.. @happypat @jgpittenger @jesperani @brett101 @seattlite @taffy @merrelyn @deborah63 @ethelperry @peterday @kiwinanna @onewing @kali66 @thistle @dide @lyndamcg @alinz @quicksilver

Super collage! It looks scary but I have been told that swarming bees are very placid and seldom sting.
Congrats on making TP!

I hope you get some of the clover honey because you gave the bees some space :)

@farmreporter They were very calm and did not worry about me sticking a camera in their face .. @kchuk hoping we will get a return on our favour from the bee keeper ..
