Appreciating our own backyard...

Today Farmer George and I took a break from the farm and went down to the Waikato River Mouth .. this is not very far away but somewhere that we take a bit for granted and do not visit often enough .. I put on my wide angle and played I was pleased that the 'tumble weed' was just starting to break away and tumble down the beach.. This pov is looking over towards Port Waikato... A lovely relaxing afternoon...,
Nice bit of tumbleweed

I'm sure Port Waikato is a lovely place and great to see it in the background.

Good you could get awY from farm work for a bit, I know it's hard when you are short staffed over the holiday period, a very fascinating plant!
