Kina layer ..

Last night was our Monthly Camera Club meeting and the set subject was 'Textures'... I had the idea to do a double exposure of the Kina shell ( Sea Urchin) but I was not happy with the result so I then did two separate shot .. one of the kina and then a macro of the shell ... and then layed them... Pretty happy with this result as I printed it up on 'Pearl' paper so it put a little extra into it..
Happy with the Honours I received as well..

This was the Photoshop layering ... did an in camera version but I was not happy with it..

I really like the concept. If I may, perhaps softening the edges (with a lens drop off ) of the interior shot. I haven't tried this using layers, of course but I think that its in the NIK collection of photoshop under types of vignettes. My photoshop edit courage is limited.
