Road Side Weeds.... by julzmaioro

Road Side Weeds....

While 'loitering' on the side of the road the other day I spotted a childhood favourite memory... Shivery grass.. It was a bit breezy so hard to get the shivery grass in focus .. but I spotted this pretty little flower which is commonly seen as a roadside weed, and after googling it could possibly be a type of wild geranium..
The shivery grass can be seen in the background..
Beautiful shot and focus. It looks so dainty.

A lovely delicate image. This is Silene gallica (common name catchfly) here is a link to a great website for identifying these wild plants http://www.terrain.net.nz/friends-of-te-henui-group/weeds-escapee-plants-common-names.html
