More Aggies

Another shot of my Agapanthus that I took the other day ... love them at the prebud burst stage...
Who ever said that 'Blue and Green should never be seen'... I think these two colours work really well together..

The first time I visited NZ I was amazed at the number of agapanthus in bloom everywhere! Middle of roads, up drives & blooming in every place they can thrive. The start of the season it looks like!

@happypat They are actually a bit of a weed and the nurseries can not sell the 'ordinary' ones as they get into the bush and the drains and cause problems ... these ones are well contained ... I think our conditions are just too good for them..

@julzmaioro Yes I do believe they are classes as a weed when wild but so many so called weeds in the Uk are now cultivated, the lovely foxglove as a case in point. We would pay good money fir your weeds!
