I have my Sister staying with me at the moment and this morning as we were having breakfast outside on the Patio we noticed that the Amaryllis that I got for Christmas was about to burst out .. This bulb was just planted on the 27th December and you could just see it zooming away every day ..
It is sitting on the new table I have made out of an old Sewing machine and is below a painting that was given to me of one of our local bays that was given to me by a group of friends ..
I noticed on here that several other 365ers had also received these bulbs for Christmas but they were all Northern Hemisphere so interested to see how their plants are getting on .. @susiemc@beryl
What a beautiful, flower-head and a great collage -- I am so envious , ha ha !! I was so pleased when I posted mine a couple of days ago , thinking I had done so well to have two flower buds emerging !!! I just wish it was a bit warmer over here for me and my amaryllis !!
@beryl oh i missed your update a few days ago... i got a big surprise how much mine had grown in the few days I had been away... i guess true warmth rayher than artificial warmth is an advantage.. .. they are a lovely flower...
