St Brides.... by julzmaioro

St Brides....

Had a lovely morning today when a couple of my Camera Club mates went out and about to a nearby village to look for some photo oppotunities... This lovely Church was built in 1861 and stands proud on the top of the hill surveying the surrounding farmland..
I used my wide angle lens on this shot ..
A fabulous composition and wonderful capture.

This is very cool from this angle, and especially with the rose in the foreground. Fav

Great use of your lens, and DOF spot on. The church must be valued by parishioners and locals, as it must have cost a Mint to keep it in such good order

I love your beautiful small white churches, always so well kept & welcoming looking. The red flowers at the front focus the eye.

@julzmaioro -- having a hard time with any creative energy and haven't picked up my camera. Spending time walking in cemeteries, but most larger than this one in your photo. thanks for asking . . .

A really nice wide angle shot - but so subtle that you cannot tell that it's wide angle!
Your churches are slightly different than ours in that our steeples are usually at the end of the church whereas yours is on the side.
Rather neat!

@jyokota I've been thinking of you, but haven't liked to intrude on your privacy. Sending virtual hugs.

Beautiful building and such a good use of your wide-angle lens to set the scene.

@golftragic -- I appreciate you thinking of me, and you could never "intrude." I haven't picked up my camera but am going on a photowalk with another 365 friend so hoping to be able to post a photo(s) next week!

@jyokota Thank you Junko, I'll take that on board, and keep in touch. Enjoy your photo-walk whether or not you shoot much yourself. I wish I had someone round here to walk with.
