Today I spent some time on the side of the netball court.. Taryn's (Grandaughter) team were in the top 3 of their grade and today's game was the decider of the grade winner .. So the pressure was on .. Thats Taryn that playing GD ( Goal Defence as well and Grandaughter) and her and her team mate GK worked really hard to stop the opposition from getting too many goals..
They did very well and won 34-20.
After loading this shot on my PC I noticed the girl hugging the pole in the background ... The only explanation I can think is she is 'stretching her hamstrings'.. either that or she is a 'Pole hugger rather than a Tree hugger'...
She looks tiny against the opposition. A good image and a good win too. BUT - what's the other team member in the background hugging the light pole for???
@dide@julzmaioro I see the 'pole hugger's' feet are above the ground and her heels are down, so she's stretching her calf muscles!!! Funny to see that in the background of this super action shot!
