Basalt Rocks..

After seeing junko's shot of Taffy taking a close look at a dead tree I thought I would share this shot of @dide taking a close up of a rock ( or something) .. This amazing place is in the Chatham Island where Dianne and I visited last month .. Amazing bit of geology ....

I love the rock formation which reminds me of the Giant'e Causeway in Ireland which I loved. Looks like I need a trip to NZ :) fav

@gilbertwood Yes the other on our trip said it was very much like Giants Causeway ... Good option to do a trip to Chathams as an extra legg of a NZ trip .. it is very different to the 'Mainland'...
