Today I had a lovely day out with a couple of friends.. we were taking one for a Birthday treat.. We ventured to a suburb of the City that none of us had been to before .. It is a very new development and lots of houses very close together.. but they did have a very nice Cafe that had lovely views looking over the Esturary.. As we were driving out of town I spotted this colourful tree.. I had to convince our driver that it was worth a 'U' turn .. This is a very large Pohutukawa and someone/body has gone to alot of trouble to 'dress' the tree.. where ever we looked there was alot of little treasures.. little birds, monkey's, snakes.. What alot of fun..

That tree has been dressed in the manner it deserves! A wonderful Christmas outfit for the Christmas tree of NZ! I would love to see this one day! Fave. Well done all the knitters!
