This is a shot taken from the bottom of our main street in town .. Tamakae Reserve has a group of Historic buildings, Museum, and this Band Rotunda.. and as an added attraction this boat has just turned up .. he seems to be making a few repairs to the boat and I guess he will move on from here .. This estuary is at the Southern most point of the Manukau Harbour on the West Coast of the North Island .. and this little 'Port' was once a very busy port for the local town ...Now every thing comes via roads perhaps we should start using some more of the small boats to put less congestion on the roads..
Lovely composition, what a pretty little boat. I love the bandstand. I can just imagine a band playing and people sitting in deck chairs listening to the music.
