Patches..

This is my resident 'blackbird'.. he puts in an appearance every day hops around the lawn and pecks out worms.. He seems to be a bit of a loner .. I have never seen a blackbird with any white on it let alone as much as this .. He was busy bouncing around on the dewy lawn yesterday morning..

We call all our lone blackbirds that continuously arrive, Bertie! I think they have a social nature!

What a great photo of a leucistic blackbird. I've only seen ones with a little bit of white on them, never seen one with this much white. Great shot

Isn’t it lovely when they have distinguishing marks? It’s lovely getting to know the routine & see them visit everyday. We have very young squirrels at the moment & we can recognise them by their markings & tails. Harry recognise the same squirrels that go to our neighbour come to us too.
