The Light house in yesterdays shot is on the South head of the Manukau Harbour which is in the West of Auckland City.. This is the view of the CBD With the Sky Tower (NZ tallest building) towering over the other buildings to the far right you can see the cone of a sleeping volcano Rangitoto Island and if you look real close you can see Auckland Museum just left of centre of Rangitoto's cone.. It all seems fairly close but if we were to drive from this spot it would take over 2 hours (on a good day)..
