Karangahake Gorge Mist..

Today we had to travel two hours South to the settlement of Katikati for a cousins funeral. We drove for a lot of the way in very thick fog but I was very pleased when we got to the picturesque part of the drive of the Karangahake Gorge the fog cleared a little and the sun came through..

Oh I love driving through there, it’s so picturesque & that railway cafe that sells raspberry bun things! Haven’t been for a year or two now....on the list for next time when that eventually comes!
