Street photography challenge. better viewd large .Bank holiday Monday

Wet , grey , High street almost empty , umbrellas , trudging from shop to shop.
Even the trees have been severely pollarded this winter so look bleak and blasted.
played a lot with basic lighting and colours but it is how I felt.
Used my compact so I felt less intrusive ,which is probably a bit of a cheat.
