Child of my child Heart of my heart
Your smile bridges the years between us
I am young again ...
discovering the world through your eyes You have the time to listen And I have the time to spend.
Delighted to gaze at familiar loved features ...
made new in you again Through you ...
I'll see the future Through me ...
you'll know the past
In the present we'll love one another As long as these moments last

(Come June we will be getting another little blessing -- our son and his wife will be having their first child)
wow Bonnie your grand kids are so big now! This is a great photo of them too. Were they both at your house all weekend? Will you need a day of rest to recover from the weekend before your grueling work week starts.
Bonnie I can't get over how they have grown. This poem you used is just how I feel about my grandchildren too. "Heart of my Heart". Couldn't have said it better.
The shot with the eaglet and eagle is from the Norfolk Botanical Garden cam... not mine... I problably should mention that and I will edit my comments... thanks.
Congratulations on the upcoming birth. We have one grand daughter and she is our delight. I posted the following comment on my site but don't imagine you will be returning so here it is again:
I invite everyone to make the trip to Richmond. There is so much to see in the Spring and I've never seen Lewis Ginter look more beautiful. I took so many wonderful flower pictures, but ended up with the glass picture because of the theme.
Thank you for your nice comment about my southern porch photo today. Love this shot of your "grans!" I only have 1 "gran" so far, but boy, oh boy, is he special to me!
