A new appreciation for Macro photographers

I tried my reverse lens adapter and 10x filter today. Wow, it was difficult. Nothing good with the reverse and a few of a fifty dollar bill with the filter. I merged too shots together for this.
Cool shot. I was reading on the reverse method and it is very confusing. One person said to put your prime lens on the camera and reverse the zoom someone else said to put the zoom on your camera and reverse the prime lens. I think I read 4 articles and they each said something different. So I gave up on trying that and someone else said to put a teleconverter on your macro lens. They said you would have to shoot all manual because they are not compatible but when I put it on all of my electronics still worked, autofocus, metering. That is what I used on my photo today.

My autofocus didn't work but that makes sense. I just couldn't get it to focus well. I used my prime 80mm, because that's what fits. I'll try again when I get home. I don't think I'll be doing too much macro here.

@klemieux Me too. I'll have to live with the filters for now.
