First, this is my 100th 365 project picture. Thanks for the continued support and here's to the next 265! :)

I celebrated with my parents, my guy best friend Robin, his parents and another family. I didn't celebrate with classmates etc. because I don't really like that... but that's another topic ^^
They also brought some hilarious hats and glasses, we are wearing them in the pictures :DD
When they arrived, we first ate Raclette. It was good although I hate Raclette... last year it affected my stomach and I was miserably ill after it :(( But this time all seems fine so far!
We also had a dessert which was Ben&Jerry's icecream. Yummy! :D
Then we did some Bleigießen. That's a German tradition where you melt little lead figures in a spoon on New Year's Eve to see what the year ahead will bring...a form of fortune-telling. (stole this from the internet bc as I said... i can't explain things in foreign languages!!) After that, we played a few games (like GiftTrap which is really nice!) and soon it was almost midnight. We screamed the countdown in our living-room (while watching the NYE special on TV) and then... the clock turned from 23:59 to 00:00. 2014 had begun!
We clinked glasses to alcohol-free sparkling wine and then went outside for the fireworks. You will see them on my 1st Jan picture!
So, this is how I ended 2013, sorry if that text bored you, but I wrote it down for me so I don't forget it :D

I must say, I always just shake my head when you talk about explaining things in a foreign language. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would never have guessed that English is not your first language. Believe me, your English is outstanding.
Ben & Jerry's... Mmmmmm. I've actually been to the Ben & Jerry's headquarters outside of Stowe, Vermont. Best ice cream on the planet!

Haha, several people told me my English would be great (for example a waiter in London when I just turned 11 :D) and - not to sound like an egoist - but I honestly think I speak better English than my classmates etc. I don't know why, I have no English roots etc. But what I always say is I can't EXPLAIN. Like when there's a German word and no translation for it in English, that's where I often start to struggle. :(
