Into Nothing

Other families go dining. We do night caches. :DD

You probably have already heard of geocaching - that digital scavenger hunt?
My family is full of geoacachers since 2009 when my uncle started - I myself created my account in 2010 :)
Anyways, there are lots of different types of geocaches. And one of them are the so-called "night caches". You do them when it's completely dark, and there are reflectors and all that stuff on the way, to solve the riddles you need things like an UV light, a laserpointer etc.
Such a nice experience! Was the 2nd night cache I did and I'd love to do more this year!
Almost the whole family came along.

I quite like the framing on here :D
I like the framing here as well. The bare bush in the foreground adds excellent depth to the photo. I like how he's brightly lit but staring out into almost total darkness, too. That adds an air of mystery to the scene. This is extremely well done, Jule!

I've done a lot of geocaching (as you know) but this is the first I've heard of Night Caches! I'm going to have to look that one up. It really does sound interesting.

What fun! Although this capture does remind me of the movie "The Blair Witch".

I'm a very keen geocacher and started in 2009, up until an illness 6 months ago you couldn't stop me being out in the countryside, much to my families annoyance. I did end up being rescued by an ambulance crew and ended up in hospital. My children think a lone lady pensioner should take up knitting, no chance. Lovely capture of a night search. Sorry to rabbit on.
