As word spread to the critters that NH planned to heed the call, an invasion force was sent to deter assistance. They came through the back country, catching us unaware. When word spread, panic spread through the people, who ran through the streets screaming. People who traveled alone didn't fair well. Finally saner heads prevailed and a general call to arms was issued. What people weren't told was the critters seemed impervious to our usual weapons...Thankfully they weren't impervious to the ol' rope em and throw em trick.
