Another in my series of urban pipes, this is the tower outside the Leipzig Fairgrounds. Leipzig is known as the original site for trade fairs, dating back to the Middle Ages! The first written documentation is from 1165.

My SLR (actually the lens!) is so much bigger and heavier than my point and shoot, and my neck/shoulder/back are bothering me lately. When I leave for the day, I have to do the "turtle" thing and carry everything I need for the day on my back. That would be computer, lunch, thermos, camera, multiple phones, books, etc. etc. and some days, I just can't take my big SLR but then I always miss it.
