De-Icing

There were over a thousand flights canceled in the "Polar Vortex" of Chicago during the "Deep Freeze" of January 2014. I think I was lucky to get out at all . . .

It's scary flying out of Chicago when the weather is this cold. The de-icing takes so long you wonder whether the plane will freeze again before it takes off.
