Last week, my get-pushed challenge was to get details that might be overlooked, so when I found this ladybug, I snapped away. Ultimately, I wondered if I was getting closer to macro in capturing these rather than the kind of "non-landscape details" of my challenge. But I liked the ladybug so at my @jgerber 's suggestion, I turned it into a triptych.
Very very cute way of showing off the detail of the l-bug. And even moreso, the design of the three and the way the green leaf travels across the three images is very strong.
I agree with Taffy... the triptych is a great way of showing the bug's movement across leaves. You should tag this with the "all creatures great and small" theme. :)
@taffy@khawbecker@agedrunner@eyeamlisa@khrunner@dide@dolphin@ceilidh@annied@rosiekerr -- thank you for taking time to stop by, and for making such supportive comments. I apologize for the uneven rhythm to my posting and commenting, but my life is literally all over this world, and the thing I try to do most consistently is to at least take photos, even if there's no time to post and comment. I appreciate your generosity in sticking with my project anyway! And @rosiekerr , extra thanks for the suggestion -- I just tagged it!
No reason whatsoever for any apology - all of us have lives. I am sporadic sometimes with less reason than you have. I am just glad to see your photos when you have time to post.
