Domenico Directing the Plan

I thought you might find it interesting to see the scale of the original backdrop (I'm not sure that such an ancient fresco in a museum should be called a "backdrop" but you know how Domenico uses those paintings by the Old Masters . . .). See the small area at the base of the tree? That's where he placed us. Meanwhile the actual photos of us were taken on a black seating area from where I am taking this photo.

Note: the room is set up to reflect the changing nature of outdoor light.
