New Growth on Trees

I think it means spring time is coming . . .

Taffy's take on another set of trees at the Chicago Botanic Garden - one with curvy leading line. https://365project.org/taffy/365/2019-03-14
This is so dark and dramatic. It evokes such a wonderful sense of moodiness. I might have cropped a bit more from the sky to highlight the tree tops.

@taffy -- I was trying to leave a third up there -- but I see what you mean. It would have put the new growth on the third line. I wonder if I can crop it with picmonkey . . .

great patterns. Almost looks like a reflection. I love this and black and white is perfect presentation for it.

It appears the trees were pruned last season by cutting straight across their tops! Wonderful capture.
