Carol's Rose of Sharon by jyokota

Carol's Rose of Sharon

My neighbor was an avid gardener and lover of birds -- I inherited all her bird feeders and birdhouses you've seen being photographed all summer. And now, the house has been sold but an offshoot from this Rose of Sharon has been planted in my yard, and perhaps it will grow to be as beautiful as hers.
Wishing you green thumbs and success with growing this beautiful plant.

How beautiful, not only because of its frilly pinks and exotic design, but its storied past, and the hopes for future blooms in your own yard.
Thank you so much for the highly complimentary words shared on my cookie picture the other day. I appreciate that a lot.
