Daryl's a GREAT cook. Taffy and I know this from first-hand experience from our trip to the Smoky Mountains together when we rented a house and Daryl whipped up all kinds of dishes even in an unfamiliar kitchen. Lately, Daryl puts her green sauce on everything. But I can't eat onions or garlic so mine is a variation of her recipe above. I also made the stuffed pepper recipe she described, which was to grill/broil the pepper, make brown rice and mix it with her green sauce. My variation: I added salmon leftovers from last night and toasted pine nuts.
I decided to practice some PS lessons because one really must practice or you forget how to do anything.
@jamibann@ludwigsdiana@aikiuser@casablanca@pamknowler@joansmor@dutchothotmailcom@k9photo@bpfoto@louannwarren -- thanks for your comments! Taffy and I joined 365 together (we've known each other for decades professionally and more as friends when she and her husband moved to Chicago and worked with my husband). But we'd never met Daryl before 365. The three of us started 365 together in January 2013 and bonded over our shared journey and decided to take a photo trip together. We met up with another 365er who's no longer on 365. Taffy and I had no clue about Daryl's cooking prowess (although Taffy brought homemade cookies and granola and bread -- and I brought ummmm ... nothing). So here's to 365 photo meetups and friendships!
@darylo delicious and definitely something I'd make again. This time I made it with avocado (because I can't use onion and garlic the sauce came out a little thin) and next time I'd like to try a different variation, too.
@rickster549 check out @Darylo 's project. She is posting a photo a day of her cooking, and often includes recipes. And if you really want to try a 365 cooking project, try the 365-bread that we are making together. (I've been trying to learn PS for YEARS and finally taking a class! But I've gotten LR down to a good flow and so many things are easier in LR)
