Oliver doesn't feel well . . .

If enough people FAV this photo do you think he would perk up? Poor little guy. He does look all in.

Oh shame what a pity to see him this way. I hope you have something handy to perk him up.

Thank you all for your concern for Oliver. I'm worried about him because he's been lethargic these days -- and even when moving about, he seems less energetic. His fur is coming out in chunks, and he scratches a lot. Casablanca said that squirrels lose their fur seasonally and not to worry, so let's hope Oliver is perky again soon.

@jyokota Bless him. Males only live 2 - 3 years maximum as well, so he maybe older than he looks. Females last around 5 years in the grey squirrel world, but males are usually less than half that. Hope he does okay.

Poor Oliver! I hope his fur loss is seasonal? Great photo.

Great details and textures in this photo of Oliver that really portray
a lethargic sadness. I really hope he is OK

@casablanca - oh, no! My daughter also wondered if Oliver was getting old. I have no idea when Oliver was born, and only noticed him during the pandemic when I was spending so much time in my backyard. Whereas Baby, I know she was born last August and she's been comfortable around me because she's known me since she first left her nest. Oh, dear, I hope Oilver is still around this summer, too,.

@Eudora Casablanca explained seasonal change of fur so I'm hoping that's the case. But now I'm worried he's getting old.

@tosee Your description is precisely what I felt when I saw this scene. Lethargic sadness.

Oh so sorry! Or maybe he is basking in the sun.
March 4th, 2021
Probably over eating
March 4th, 2021
Sleeping after lunch perhaps.

He looks peaceful there.
March 5th, 2021
Ahhhh, does sort of looks under the weather. Great shot.
March 5th, 2021
He's definitely not looking very happy - maybe a tummy ache from all he's eaten.
March 5th, 2021
Oh, poor baby. I hope he's okay

Sorry to hear Oliver is under the weather. Nice composition with him in the crux of the branches
