He only stayed in Illinois for two days, as reported by the Illinois Ornithological Society. And I was lucky that they were spent in the area near Chicago, and some of that time in @vankrey 's backyard!
Goodness what a pretty bird and how lucky a friend called you over to get this wonderful photograph (were there many other photographers in his garden/yard??!!)
