Get-Pushed-71 Challenge from Suse @Susale to capture something that is "soft and tender or makes the viewer feel so."
In the midst of a big holiday and travel week, I couldn't channel Joey DMuli or Arefin so I had to do my best to fulfill a true get-pushed in that "soft and tender" is not my usual style.
This was taken on a hike at the top of the highest peak in Macau. Two of the university's grad students pointed out this single flower along our hike. I had fun trying out various processing tricks (combining so many I can't recall them all but I think ultimately layered the antique setting on silver efex pro) to make a representational photo appear more soft and tender. Good thing to do when jet-lagged and wide awake at 3:30 am.
