Last night we stayed in Crescent City, and today we headed north to Bandon, OR. On our way we drove through the redwoods and took a few pictures. My picture of the day is one of my boyfriend standing on the road in the redwoods. I have pictures without him in it, but it just doesn't have the same impact without a sense of scale. I also took some pictures on the beach in Bandon later this evening, that are probably technically better, but I already have beach pictures (and will probably have more) in my project and I really wanted to include the redwoods. So, this is my picture.

In the thumbnail photo I thought there was a cat walking down the road! So *yes*, to find it's a person really adds a sense of scale to your picture! Such a beautiful area!

I can see why taleweaver picked this as a fav. AMAZING. I so miss seeing the redwoods, so this makes me feel nostolgic, but you did such a great job of showing the MASSIVEness of the trees. awe inspiring
