Last night we stayed in Crescent City, and today we headed north to Bandon, OR. On our way we drove through the redwoods and took a few pictures. My picture of the day is one of my boyfriend standing on the road in the redwoods. I have pictures without him in it, but it just doesn't have the same impact without a sense of scale. I also took some pictures on the beach in Bandon later this evening, that are probably technically better, but I already have beach pictures (and will probably have more) in my project and I really wanted to include the redwoods. So, this is my picture.
They are sooo huge - I would love to see them too one day!

In the thumbnail photo I thought there was a cat walking down the road! So *yes*, to find it's a person really adds a sense of scale to your picture! Such a beautiful area!

Nice, you did a great job with the perspective. Love the sense of distance and size.

Wow! Great sense of scale. I wouldn't have guessed the trees were that big. Honestly, in the thumbnail I thought it was a chicken in the road :-)

This is so awesome. The redwoods are still on my "want to go there"-list. A fav.
