I was thinking about the numbers theme this week and this song came to mind. Three hundred and sixty five days broken down into minutes make for many moments in a year. There are minutes which flow by without a thought but then there are those that seem suspended in time, forever etched into the timepiece of our beating hearts. I had such a moment this past week and I am forever changed.

________________________________________________

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets
In midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife
In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure, a year in the life?

How about love,
Measure in love,
Seasons of love.

Rent! Wow, I haven't thought about Rent in so long.
Great processing on the clock. It makes me feel as if time has slowed down.

@anron thanks, it was all done thru Picnik.

@bobg thanks, I wanted to focus in on the "minute" moment.

@sarasdadandmom thanks, sadly it wasn't a good one this time but it had to happen to get the results so in that respect, it was good.

@idonotsqueak Saw Rent before it closed in NY. Enjoy seeing all your big city photos BTW!

@timandelke @russianblue @katrinacristy @rmkgreene Love the lyrics and the feelings expressed in that song. It was a heartfelt photo and message so thank you for your comments.

Interesting composition, I like the way the face of the clock is worn and torn as if time is a fabric.
