seed to seed

Today i sorted my seed collection. I have been growing heirloom veges from seed and returning seed I save to a couple of seedbank groups for about 20 years now. I saw a promo for a new documentary called 'Seed-the untold story ' https://vimeo.com/97882647 ' which states we have lost 94% of the world's food diversity in the last century, that is a mind boggling fact, and explains why i feel so passionate about the issue, it seems to fulfill a primal urge in me and it makes me happy to share them around, so if any of my New Zealand friends would like me to send them some to grow you can email me to arrange.. kali66@outlook.co.nz

day 3 of 100 happy days, so far so good

Good on you. My cousin, Stella Christoffersen does a similar thing. It's must be so rewarding being involved in an important project like that.

Admirable pursuit. I'm full of good intent, but more often than not I'm "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." Macbeth Act 5, scene 5, 19–28. Needs must get my act together. Later, soon, maybe?

@s4sayer the seeds wont wait, they die if you dont keep growing them, its an awesome responsibility

This is so incredibly interesting, and so smart of you. I love that you grow things... constantly and consistently. Just two weeks ago I heard on the radio about the Svalbard Seed Vault in Norway and it was the most interesting, intriguing thing - I never knew about it.
