Francoise wanted to see some produce from my garden making it to the table.
the chard and cavolo nero were sizzled with olive oil, homegrown garlic and a pinch of salt and left to wilt in just the moisture clinging to them, makes it tasty. The corn was also homegrown , served with mung dal and rice, with last year's homemade plum chutney accompaniment .
@kali66 ditto on the yum. My garden is bare dirt yet with some thin onion sprouts coming up.in rows. (And quarter inch radishes and lettuces, but might as well be bare dirt). I like the story being told from left to right here.
Delish! I'm trying to make a small garden this summer, an upgrade from the potted patio garden of last summer. I have frown one kale plant and one mustard green plant all winter and I need to eat them! Your meal is divine!!!!!
