My get-pushed partner this week GiGi @gigiz asked me to use the word paganism as my starting point . That is not a word I have really related to before but on wikipedia it says paganists believe ' divinity is inseperable from nature and that deity is immanent in nature' and 'all being is interrelated, that we are all linked with the cosmos as parts of one living organism. What affects one of us affects us all' so in that I have found some common ground. Down to Earth was her alternative definition and I can definitely relate to that.
My passion is for seed-saving, to me seeds are precious. This is the season for pulling the dried pods off the bean plants and opening them to find the beautiful shiny jewels within.
MY garden is a GE-free Zone,
F%@K MONSANTO! they are an abomination.
What a glorious shot kali. I can identify with your comments about Monsanto too... having said that your name is kali. "The dark mother" of legend, who went on a destructive rampage until Siva threw himself at her feet. So there must be a dark side to you too!
YOu took up the challenge! The hand is so incredible, It looks like the death and resurrection--- the seeds as the glowing new life. But the hand - how it is part of and yet raising out of the earth.
Stunning imaginative and on target ... it is horrifying how these massive corporations feel that making a financial profit gives them a right to bully and abuse people and the earth ... karma may not be instant but it's gonna get them ... love the violet beans in particular but they have all been arranged with clear passion
That's such a lovely collection of seeds you have. I had to google Monsanto to read about it and I can see what's to hate about them. Fav for this very creative shot.
I also relate completely - we are organic gardeners/GE free and I wholeheartedly echo your sentiment about Monsanto - they are terrifying!
I feel like punching Monsanto for you....lol
Amazing and pure fav!
