my eldest, the drifter.
he has built his own car for the track, here he is in his workshop rebuilding yet another gearbox. I shudder to think what he has spent on his hobby, but so proud of him, he has great skills.
@skipt07 hmmm he is rather more organised than he was when he lived at home, he is thinking of building an extension onto the workshop soon, which probably means he will spend even more money *sigh
@skipt07 Looks like every great mechanics shop I've ever stepped foot in. Trust me they know where everything thing is but you could never find it for them.
Great environmental portrait. Love the tones and processing. These days with new cars being computerised there is no need to know what is going on under the bonnet so anyone who has the patience, passion and knowledge to work on cars is practising a real skill.
hobbies are scary! i know that from experience. they sometimes turn into something monstrous as far as the bank account is concerned.
now, twice this week you've tagged me on a 'private photo' on five pkus two that i of course couldn't access because it's a private photo. what's up with that? :-)
@summerfield sorry Vikki i didn't know you would get notifications from private photos :{ we are having discussions about a replacement for Jenny, but nothing is decided yet
@kali66 - does it make sense to replace her when you have 6 more posts to go? unless of course you guys are planning to continue on. in which case i would like to put forth 2 names for you to consider. :-)
@tristansmum no he drives trucks and diggers for a living, he does charge his friends to do work on their cars and makes some money doing up cars to sell. he is entirely self-taught, just amazing really
@kali66 Great shots
