as luck would have it they ploughed over the local field this week, will try to go back at a different time of day to see if the direction of the light helps bring out the texture. unfortunately i couldnt get a higher viewpoint, so i played with perspective crop here

great sweep of ruts - looks like a coliseum in the back ground - altho am fairly sure the romans didnt get that far!
