Suffering a severe case of vertigo today I was lucky to be able to hold a camera let alone keep it steady. Thank goodness for the tripod. It held both me and the camera together. 10 shots later and this is it. The light sums up what is going on in my head. Art imitating life...
@kendra84 Thanks Kendra. I guess I got lucky with the light, oh and my trusty tripod @jillmstruss Thanks Jill. Tomorrow will be a new day, and another photo oportunity @groovygirlrn At least the rain bought some good drop oportunities thanks! @grizzlysghost Thanks Aaron. I would have liked the focus on the drop to be sharper, but the focal point said i was good so I think I'll use a cable release next time as I may be a little heavy handed when I press the button! But for a crap day I was pretty happy! @asutherland1964 Thankyou Andrew. I've been loving your night shots of late.
@pawar_ramesh Thankyou Ramesh It was a little ray of sunshine in a dull day @marieooi Thanks most of the shots were like that, 'sharp bokeh'. The light was very pretty in an otherwise dull day
@sugarmuser Your drip was fine, maybe the leaf a little unattractive, but that is how nature is. I loved your night scene @sewsharyn Thankyou Sharyn
@myautofocuslife The light was nice and for once nature ws just 'hanging' in the right spot!
@danacarruthers Oh thanks so much Dana. Being unwell sucked but I think it makes me just go out and quickly shoot 'something'
, whereas on other days I tend to overthink and overcomplicate so my pictures get worse not better! @triciaodonnell Thanks Tricia. I was lucky to have a backdrop of beautiful pointsettias. @redpants Thanks Sue. Think I need better drugs!!! @lindag Thankyou Linda. It was a pointsettia bush so the red is just beautiful when they are in bloom @tobi Thankyou Santina. I think I got lucky! @ubobohobo Thanks Margaret. It was a highlight in a dull day!
@ellimae Oh thanks Ellen. I always forget to look at that page. It's only when I realise that I have lots of lovely comments that I am drawn to it. Sometimes I need to stop and smell the roses! The vertigo is killing me but I tend to shot without too much thought when I'm sick and sometimes that works for me as I don't overthink what i shoot! Thanks for your superb support!
@sanfil Thanks Sandra Glad you liked it @ubobohobo I was so surprised Margaret. Thanks so much @lynne3804 Thanks Lynn I'm still reminiscing over your Lane Cove River shot!
@jennarichards Thankyou so much Jenna @gs365 Ha ha yes we do Grant. thanks for the look in @agavegirl13 You are too kind Karuna @lorraineb Thanks so much. It seems I should take more pics when I am under the weather! @cottoncandy It was a pointsettia bush so there was lots of brilliant red flowers as a backdrop. Thanks so much! @pawar_ramesh You are too kind ramesh. Its the ones you least expect that surprize you the most! @stoat Thankyou so much Debbie. I feel very flattered by all the lovely comments on this one!
Really cool, Karen. You are so not a drip! Well shot. Love the read background! I just referenced you in my recent raccoon photo on June 1. I was in a dangerous position to get pooped on when taking his photo (right underneath). I stayed clean luckily, but wouldn't have minded being so hardcore as you for a shot (remember your bird shot months back).
@amandalomonaco Ha ha yes I do remember! The things we do. I saw your cute little racoon, he was just too cute, but I've heard behind the cute facade they can be really feisty!
