This is my BIG thankyou to all the dedicated, wonderful and talented people on this site who have made comment on my pictures of late. I am flattered, excited and deeply greatful for all the fantastic comments and advise I have received.
This sunset was taken at Town beach. It was about 10 degrees and freezing cold, but the waves were lovely barrels so the surfers were out in force. Where is my tele lens when I need it!!!

@nikkic Thanks Niki. We feel very fortunate that for the last 20 years we have only lived in houses less than 1km form the beach. But keep in mind most of Australia lives near to the coast!
@ellimae The beaches here are beautiful and we are very fortunate. I love it, nithing like a swim in the ocean. I hope your tele lens doesn't cost too much. the elast time I had to repair a lens it cost me 100s!

It’s funny living in different parts of the world, or even this big country. I couldn't imagine getting in the water at this time of the year. It’s way too cold.

@roy Nor I but those surfie dudes are die hard they go in all year round. I might point out that the water temp was about 17 degrees which is warmer than the air temp!
