I first spotted this abandoned barn back in January while scouting out potential Photo a Day opportunities. Of course, in January it didn't have those weeds growing up in front of the door, but when I checked out the spot this morning it looked ideal in its current condition. The paint is peeling, the hinges are rusted, the door is boarded shut, and weeds are overtaking the surroundings. In other words, it's a perfect Ron Correia subject! Unfortunately, I've been unable to find any details around the use of the structure, its age, or its current status. The artwork on the doors and the side of the building strike me as late 1960ish, but that's just a guess.
I did very little post processing on this one. I ran it through a photo pop filter in Topaz Adjust, primarily to emphasize the peeling paint. Back in PSE I adjusted the levels slightly for contrast.
