If there is an outdoor event anywhere around the city of Providence, you are likely to find Val and her bicycle-powered ice cream cart doing a brisk business selling a variety of flavors on a stick. The poor weather, including bouts of severe thunder and heavy downpours, didn't keep her from the outdoor Providence Flea Market this morning. There were only about 25% of the normal vendors here, and the crowd was extremely sparse. As soon as Val opened her cart for business, though, the line formed. Clearly, there's always time for ice cream, and a bit of rain and lightening won't deter the faithful.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, boost black, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment and a sepia photo filter were added in PSE.
