I went to North Smithfield to get some photos along the banks of the Upper Slatersville Reservoir and I spotted some amazing reflections in the extremely calm water. What I opted to do was photograph just the reflections without showing the objects that actually created them. To play with the mind, however, I flipped the image 180 degrees so we're looking at the reflections as if they were truly the object being reflected. It creates a rather interesting effect, especially as the mind tries to understand why there are leaves and turf hanging over our heads. (The leaves and turf in the upper left corner are the only objects in the photo that are not reflections.)
Post processing started in PSE where I rotated the image 180 degrees. From there I took it into Topaz B&W FX and applied a classic filter. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added back in PSE.
